THE STORY:

(based on Les Miserables by Victor Hugo):

Sent by her dying mother, Jean Valjean comes to the village outside Paris where little Cosette is living like a slave with the Thenardier family. He arrives on Christmas Eve to rescue Cosette. Because Valjean is so kind, little Cosette thinks he must be Father Christmas.
